Dr. Kevin Carmody

Dr. Kevin Carmody (MB BCh BAO, MICGP, MRCPI, MSc) graduated from UCC in 2012. He completed the South East GP training scheme in 2019, gaining experience in hospital jobs in adult medicine, paediatrics, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology and accident and emergency. He also spent 4 months working in the Billy Riordan Clinic in Cape MacClear, Malawi as part of his training scheme.
Dr Carmody spent 5 years working as an NHS GP in London before returning to Ireland.
He has an interest in general medicine and dermatology, and has further postgraduate qualifications including a dermatology diploma from Cardiff University.
Dr Carmody performs joint injections (shoulder and knee) and contraceptive implant insertion and removals.
Outside of work, he is a sports fan and a proud supporter of the Kerry Gaelic football team
